What is a Sherco Electric Balance Bike?
Sherco Electric Balance Bikes are designed to help children learn balance and steering. Unlike a regular bicycle they have no pedals and are instead propelled by a brush electric motor.
Who is the EB16 Factory suitable for?
- Riders with some experience on a balance bike or who are taller and need a little more room to move
- Between 5-6 years of age
- Weighing up to 40kg
- With an inseam of more than 18inchs / 45cm to allow them to touch the ground with a slight bend in the knees
- Younger and smaller children are better suited to the Sherco EB12

What are the safety features that are included?
- Selectable power modes will keep new riders in check with top speed restricted to 10km/h in low-power mode, 17km/h in medium-power mode and 21km/h in full-power mode
- The drive chain is fully enclosed with a protective cover
- A rear disc brake provides responsive stopping power
- When the rear brake lever is engaged, power is cut from the electric motor, preventing the chance of a panic throttle twist
How long does the battery last?
- Run time is up to 60 minutes of constant use, however battery range will vary depending on speed mode, rider weight and conditions.
- Parents can monitor battery usage with the handlebar mounted battery status switch
- The battery recharging port is easily accessed for quick recharging. The recharge time is up to three hours.
- Each bike includes an Australian 240V household charger for simple charging
- Additional batteries are available for purchase

What’s the difference between the Sherco EB12, EB16 and EB16 Factory?
EB12 is suited for riders 2-6 years of age with little or no experience on a balance bike. It has 12-inch wheels and is powered by a 100W brush motor and 2.6Ah lithium-ion battery. With full-power mode enabled top-speed is approximately 15km/h.
EB16 is suited for riders 5-6 years of age with some experience on a balance bike or who are taller and require more room to move. It has 16-inch wheels and is powered by a 170W brush motor and a 5.2Ah lithium-ion battery. With full-power mode enabled top-speed is approximately 21km/h.
